Kory Caughie

Kory Caughie is an experienced nursing professional with a focus on disaster response and crisis management. Currently serving as a Disaster Response RN at Samaritan's Purse since May 2020, Kory is responsible for on-call availability to address sudden disasters and health crises both domestically and internationally. As the Director and Founder of El Paso CARES since September 2018, Kory leads initiatives to support health and wellness in the community. Additionally, Kory has held a nursing position at On Call International since November 2011 and previously served in various roles, including RN, assistant manager, disaster coordinator, and staff council head at Baylor Medical Center from April 1995 to May 2010. Educational qualifications include a Master's Degree in human services trauma and crisis counseling from Liberty University and a Bachelor's Degree in Registered Nursing from Texas Woman's University.
