David B. has extensive work experience in the advertising and marketing industry. David has held leadership roles in creative departments throughout their career.
David started their career in the US Navy as a Lieutenant from 1989 to 1995.
In 1995, David joined BBDO Toronto as a Senior Copywriter and stayed with the company until 2000.
From 2001 to 2003, they worked as an Associate Creative Director at GJP Advertising.
David then joined J. Walter Thompson Worldwide as a Creative Director from 2003 to 2005.
Next, they served as the Chief Creative Officer at Doe-Anderson from 2005 to 2009.
From 2009 to 2014, David worked as the Executive Creative Director at St. John & Partners.
David then moved to marriner marketing, where they held the role of Executive Creative Director from 2014 to 2016.
Currently, David is the Chief Creative Officer at On Ideas, a position they have held since 2016.
David B. completed their undergraduate education at Millsaps College from 1984 to 1988. David obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree with a major in Psychology. In 1989, they attended the U.S. Navy Officer Candidate School for a brief period, where they received training in Military and Strategic Leadership. Following this, from 1988 to 1989, they attended the University of Mississippi School of Law; however, it is unclear whether they completed a degree or field of study at this institution.
