Nicole Torres is responsible for assessing, evaluating, planning, organizing and directing the operations of On Lok’s directly operated PACE centers and related service departments in alignment with the strategic goals and operational priorities of the organization.
Nicole began her career at On Lok as a Home Care Nurse with the 30th Street PACE Center in 2002. She steadily moved through various leadership roles that were both clinical and administrative in nature giving her the sound foundation required to lead the On Lok PACE program as the organization’s first Vice President of PACE.
Prior to On Lok, Nicole held various nursing roles in the acute care setting including Children’s Hospital Oakland and Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital at Stanford.
Throughout her career, Nicole has maintained her participation in support of her self-development and community engagement. Within the larger PACE community, she has served as a member of the National PACE Association's education committee, research committee, and nursing consortium. She is a fellow alumni of the Geriatric Nursing Leadership Academy sponsored by the Honor Society of Nursing, Sigma Theta Tau International in partnership with the John A. Hartford Foundation Centers of Geriatric Nursing Excellence. Nicole is a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Practitioner and received her Bachelors degree in Nursing from the University of San Francisco.
