Marcela Morales Hidalgo

Marcela Morales Hidalgo is an experienced professional in research and consultancy, currently serving as an Associate at On Think Tanks since January 2020. In this role, Marcela leads and supports various consultancy projects, including evidence reviews for the Jacobs Foundation and engagement strategies for the Open Societies Foundations. Previously, Marcela worked as a Research Officer for Southern Voice, providing support for initiatives focused on Sustainable Development Goals across multiple regions. Additionally, Marcela has held positions at Grupo FARO, where responsibilities included coordinating the ELLA Initiative and overseeing research for the Educiudadanía project. Early career experiences include roles at Transparency International and UNODC. Marcela holds an MPhil in Development Studies from the University of Cambridge and multiple degrees in International Relations and Conflict Management.
