Brittany Somuah has a comprehensive work experience spanning various industries. Brittany began their career in 2012 as an International Trade Intern at the U.S. Department of Commerce. In 2014, they worked at the University of Maryland College Park as a Tell a Terp Call Center Student Caller, where they raised funds for different organizations and gained strong interpersonal and persuasion skills.
Brittany continued to work at the University of Maryland College Park in various roles, including Thank You Note Writer and Office of Leadership Annual Giving Intern. During this time, they completed specialized customer service and sales training and conducted research projects to inform stakeholders about the university's achievements and statistics.
In 2016, Brittany worked as a Sales Clerk and Data Entry Specialist at BookHolders, where they provided excellent customer service, handled inquiries and concerns, and maintained the book database. Brittany also worked at the University of Maryland College Park as a Front Desk Associate, completing clerical tasks, maintaining security, and addressing complaints from students and parents.
In 2017, Brittany gained further experience as a Health Intern at Banyan Global, where they conducted research on USAID projects, enhanced their writing skills, and developed marketing and communication skills through campaign proposals.
Brittany then moved on to the Joint Institute for Food Safety and Applied Nutrition (JIFSAN) where they worked as a Finance Intern, followed by roles at Cision. At Cision, they began as an Account Advisor, achieving 150% of their annual goal and maintaining high renewal rates. Brittany was then promoted to the Mid-Market Account Manager role after exceeding quota in the Small Business division.
Lastly, Brittany Somuah joined ON24 in 2020 as a Senior Mid-Market Account Manager. Brittany has been recognized for their outstanding performance, exceeding annual growth and renewal quotas, and closing significant deals. Brittany has also led diverse teams in supporting clients' marketing goals and strategies, as well as prospecting and closing new business opportunities.
Brittany Somuah has a Bachelor of Science degree in Community Health and Preventive Medicine with a minor in General Business from the University of Maryland. In March 2021, they obtained a ValueSelling Certification from Visualize Inc. Additionally, in May 2018, they obtained a Miller Heiman Conceptual Selling Certification from the Miller Heiman Group.
