Chris Nicol is an experienced electrical engineer with a strong background in developing collaborative solutions and educational technology. Currently at SMART Technologies since July 2010, Chris has contributed to the hardware development of DViT interactive whiteboards and other educational devices, previously serving as a firmware engineer in the same capacity. Prior experience includes electronics contracting at Science Alberta Foundation, teaching assistance at the University of Calgary, and electronics engineering at Grindcom, where Chris developed control systems for forestry machinery. Chris holds a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Calgary and a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering from DeVry Institute of Technology.
