Laura Murphy-Block

Laura Murphy-Block has a diverse work experience. Laura started their career as a News Producer/Reporter at WDAM in 1997 and later worked as a Producer at FNC and Florida's News Channel. Laura then joined First Coast News as a Television News Producer from 2001 to 2003. At WWL-TV, they served as a Cause Marketing Account Manager, working with non-profits to develop community awareness through advertising. From 2006 to 2008, Laura worked at WCTV as an Internet Sales Manager, significantly increasing sales and website users. Laura took a break from their career to be a Director of Development (Stay at Home Mom) at The Block Household from 2008 to 2017. Currently, they are working at OnCampus Advertising, where they initially served as a Director of Sales and then became the Director of National Sales. In this role, they assist companies and agencies with marketing to college students on numerous campuses across the US and Canada.

Laura Murphy-Block earned a Bachelor's degree in Communication and Media Studies from the University of New Orleans between 1990 and 1992.
