Isabel Macdonald has extensive work experience in the scientific field. Isabel began their career as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Leicester in 2003, where they worked until 2006. Isabel then moved to the University of Oxford, where they continued their research as a Postdoctoral Researcher from 2006 to 2009.
In 2009, Macdonald transitioned to industry and joined Oncimmune. Isabel started as a Senior Scientist and worked in this role for two years, from July 2009 to November 2011. Isabel Macdonald's education history began in 1994 when they enrolled at The University of Sheffield for a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry. Isabel completed their MChem degree in Chemistry in 1998.
