Rob Martinsen has a wealth of experience in software engineering and data analysis. Rob began their career in 2006 as a Data Services Analyst at QuinStreet, where they maintained and updated data for more than 500 clients on more than 200 data driven websites in an Oracle environment. Rob then moved on to Lumens Light + LIVING in 2008, where they served as a Data Analyst/Project Manager, maintaining data integrity for more than 120,000 items for the retail website. In 2012, they joined UCSF Medical Center as a Programmer Analyst I, providing data support for research using claims data from the Family PACT program. In 2013, they began working at UC Davis Medical Center as a Research Statistician with the California Cancer Registry, supporting population level research and data analysis related to cancer epidemiology. In 2016, they joined University of California, Davis as a Data Science and Computational Research Specialist, performing web development and data analysis for the department of Science and Technology Studies. Rob created PriorIP, a website for analysis of trends in technology using patent clustering methods. In 2018, they began working as a Software Engineer at Picwell, and in 2021, they joined Oncora Medical as a Software Engineer.
Rob Martinsen obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of California, Davis in 2005. Additionally, they obtained a SAS Base Programmer certification from SAS in May 2013.
