Laura Viggiano Ciras

Laura Viggiano Ciras has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Laura started their career as an intern at Cytec Industries Inc in 2008 and later worked as a Chemist in the same company from 2010 to 2011. Laura then joined Yale University School of Medicine as a Research Assistant from 2011 to 2012. Laura then moved to bluebird bio, where they served as a QC Senior Associate from 2012 to 2015. Laura then worked at Scholar Rock as a Senior Research Associate in Pharmacology and Bioanalytics from 2015 to 2016. Laura's most recent experience is with Oncorus, where they have held multiple roles. Laura started as a Manager in Analytical Sciences/Quality from 2016 to 2020. Laura then became a Senior Manager in Analytical Development and Quality Control from 2020 to 2021. Currently, Laura is working as an Associate Director of Quality Control at Oncorus, starting in August 2021.

Laura Viggiano Ciras completed their Bachelor's of Science degree in Molecular and Cell Biology from the University of Connecticut from 2007 to 2010. Laura then pursued a Master's degree in Molecular and Cell Biology from Quinnipiac University from 2010 to 2012.
