Theo van der Zee

Theo van der Zee serves as the managing director and co-founder of SocioQuest, a practice research and advisory bureau affiliated with the Sociology department of Rijksuniversiteit Groningen, since June 2012. Additionally, Theo co-founded KiVa School in November 2013, which is recognized in the Netherlands and Finland for effectively preventing and addressing bullying in schools. Responsibilities also include managing ZorgfocuZ BV, an initiative focused on research and advice in the healthcare sector, and operating Byond beleidsonderzoek & -advies as an independent policy researcher and advisor since 2009. As a lecturer in policy and research at Rijksuniversiteit Groningen since 2009, Theo has contributed to various public boards, such as serving as chair of the external audit committee for Gemeente Ten Boer from May 2009 to June 2017. Academic credentials include a cum laude MSc in Sociology from the University of Groningen and a BA in Financial Management from Hbo Nederland.
