Liz Zamudio (She/Ella)

Program Director at One Arizona

Liz is a DACA recipient and student at Arizona State University, pursuing her degree in Educational Studies. Her fight for immigrant rights has led Liz to engage in social and racial justice projects in efforts to increase electoral power in the Latinx and Black communities. Since 2012 Liz has been a Team Lead and a Field Organizer during Voter Registration and GOTV efforts in Maricopa County that eventually ousted Sheriff Arpaio out of office, increased the minimum wage, and gave paid-sick-leave to workers in Arizona. Liz has also been instrumental in planning and executing DACA Clinics, Know Your Rights Trainings, and Leadership Development Classes for high school youth in South and West Phoenix. Liz is now the Membership Manager at One Arizona, where she continues to increase electoral and community power with 29 partner organizations across the state of Arizona.
