Md. Manirul Islam

Md. Manirul Islam is the current Senior Executive Vice President at One Bank. Md. has over fifteen years of experience in the banking industry, specializing in risk management and credit portfolio appraisal.

Manirul began their career as a Probationary Officer at Southeast Bank Limited in 1996. Md. then moved to Bank Asia Limited in 2002, where they served as Credit Manager for four years. In 2006, they joined Standard Chartered Bank as a Relationship Manager for SME Banking in Bangladesh.

After a year at Standard Chartered Bank, Manirul joined Eastern Bank Limited as the Head of Risk Management Unit. Md. held this position for seven years before moving to Midland Bank Ltd. in 2014, where they served as the Head of Credit Risk Management Division for three years.

In 2017, Manirul joined One Bank as Senior Executive Vice President. In this role, they are responsible for the appraisal and management of the bank's credit portfolio.

Md. Manirul Islam has an MBA in Finance from IBA, University of Dhaka. Md. is a Certified Credit Professional from Omega Performance.

They work with Shibly Nasimul Huq - Senior Vice President, Parul Das - Senior Executive Vice President & CFO, and Rashed Akhtar Zaman - Senior Executive Vice President. Their manager is Monzur Mofiz, Managing Director.
