Valerie Abreu

Valerie Abreu currently serves as a Networks Liaison at OneHope, facilitating partnerships and collaboration strategies toward InCommon since August 2023. With extensive experience as a missionary for Sepal since December 2006, Valerie has played various roles beyond the formal organizational structure. Previously, an Interim Children's Pastor at IBB Igreja Batista do Bacacheri from January 2023 to July 2023, Valerie efficiently motivated the children's ministry team. Additional experience includes serving as an Event Coordinator for Envisionar Estratégia e Capacitação de Líderes, managing the Global Leadership Summit in Brazil, and as the General Manager for Brazil at Willow Creek Association, where leadership development initiatives were mobilized. Early career roles include project management at GE Capital and administrative support at Kellogg Company. Valerie holds a Bachelor of Education from Moody Bible Institute and is pursuing a Master of Arts in Children's, Youth and Family Ministry at Bethel University.
