Michael Kang

Michael Kang has over 18 years of professional experience in software engineering. Michael began their career in 2002 as a Lead Software Engineer at Youl Systems. From 2005 to 2007, they were the Lead Software Engineer at SK Innoace. Michael then moved to Leap In Entertainment as a Lead Game Programmer. In 2009, they became the CEO of Merlion Software Inc. and then joined Bardel Entertainment as the Head of Software / Senior Software Engineer in 2011. In 2015, they began working at Streetline, Inc. as a Principal Software Engineer / Team Lead. In 2019, they were a Senior Member of Technical Staff at VMware and then a Senior Staff Software Engineer at One Concern in 2020.

Michael Kang attended Jeonbuk National University from 1993 to 2000, where they earned both a BS in Physics and a BE in Computer, Information and Communication Engineering. In 2000, they began attending Sogang University to pursue a Master of Science (MS) in Media Technology.
