Kate Thomas

Kate Thomas is an experienced professional in philanthropy and engagement, currently serving as the Philanthropy & Engagement Manager at One Earth since April 2022. Prior to this role, Kate held the position of Financing Change Manager at CanopyPlanet, focusing on strengthening philanthropic partnerships and diversifying fundraising streams. Earlier experience includes managing the Wildlife & Landscape Conservation portfolio at the Leonardo DiCaprio Foundation and leading alumni relations at Crossroads School for Arts & Sciences. Kate's background also includes managing public programs for the UCLA Institute of the Environment and Sustainability and supporting directors at the RAND Corporation. Kate holds a Master of Public Administration in Environmental Policy and a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology, both from Texas Tech University.
