Camilla Ferrari

Camilla Ferrari started their work experience as a Visiting PhD Student at Nanyang Technological University in 2018. In 2019, they worked as a Visiting Scientist at the same university and also joined VIB-UGent as a Postdoctoral Scientist. Camilla remained in these roles until October 2022. Currently, they are working as a Research Lead at one • five, a biomaterials research and development company focused on providing circular and tailored packaging solutions to the consumer packaged goods industry.

Camilla Ferrari has a strong background in scientific education. Camilla obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Biology, with a concentration in Biology, General, from Università di Pisa, where they studied from 2009 to 2012. Building on their undergraduate studies, they pursued a Master's Degree in Plant and Microbe Biotechnologies from the same institution, completing their degree in 2014. Motivated to further expand their knowledge and research skills, Camilla then enrolled in the Max Planck Institute of Molecular Plant Physiology for their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) program. Camilla successfully completed their PhD in 2019. The focus of their doctoral research or their field of study is not specified. Nonetheless, with their diverse educational background and research experience, Camilla Ferrari is well-equipped to contribute to the scientific community in their field.
