Angela Kouplen

Angela Kouplen has extensive work experience in various roles within the field of administration and information technology. Angela currently holds the position of Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer at ONE Gas since September 2023. Prior to that, they worked at The University of Tulsa as the Vice President of Administration and Chief Information Officer from July 2022 to September 2023. Angela also served as the Interim Chief Information Officer at the same institution from August 2021 to June 2022.

Before joining The University of Tulsa, Angela held multiple positions at WPX Energy, including Senior Vice President of Administration and Chief Information Officer from November 2018 to March 2021, Vice President of Administration and Chief Information Officer from May 2016 to November 2018, Vice President, Information Technology from March 2015 to April 2016, and Director, Talent Acquisition and Leadership from January 2012 to February 2015.

Earlier in their career, they worked at Williams as the Manager of IT Planning and Governance from June 2010 to January 2012 and the Manager of Sourcing Management from July 2007 to June 2010. Angela also gained experience at CITGO Petroleum Corporation, where they held roles such as Third Party Applications and .Net Development Supervisor from September 2004 to June 2007, E-Business Strategy and Alliance Manager from September 2001 to September 2004, and Information Analyst from January 1997 to September 2001.

Angela Kouplen obtained their Bachelor's degree in Management from Oklahoma State University. Angela'seducation continued as they pursued a Masters degree in Business Administration from The University of Tulsa, completing it from 2000 to 2002.
