Matthew Carlquist

Matthew Carlquist, CSP, serves as the Director of Health and Safety at ONE Gas, where responsibilities include providing strategic vision and direction for environmental, health, and safety (EHS) efforts. Previously, Matthew held various managerial roles within EHS, overseeing a team of professionals and supporting compliance across multiple states in activities such as natural gas pipeline construction, environmental spill response, and transportation safety. Prior experience includes positions at Oklahoma State University as an electrician and crew lead, an EHS intern at ONEOK, and a safety and health intern at American Safety - Insurance. Matthew holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Technology, specializing in Fire Protection and Safety Engineering, from Oklahoma State University.
