Valerie Threadgill

Valerie Threadgill has over two decades of experience in child welfare and adoption services. Since July 2004, Valerie has served as the Wendys Wonderful Kids Adoption Recruiter at One Hope United in Orlando, focusing on educating the public about foster care adoption and recruiting families for children in need. Previously, Valerie worked as a Program Specialist, continuing support for families and neglected children during the privatization of services in Florida. Valerie's career in family services began at the Florida Department of Children and Families, where crisis intervention and case management were provided to families requiring out-of-home care from November 1993 to July 2004. Valerie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Education from Moravian University and an Associate's degree from Seminole State College of Florida.
