Riaz Hooda

Riaz Hooda has extensive experience in finance and management roles. Riaz has worked at One Housing since 2013, starting as a Finance Business Partner and progressing to Head of Financial Performance and Reporting, and currently as Head of Finance. In these roles, they have been responsible for managing financial activities, providing accurate financial information for decision-making, and fostering continuous improvement. Prior to their work at One Housing, Riaz worked as a Financial Controller at BLINK BROW BAR LIMITED, where they set up the finance function and led financial strategy for expansion. Riaz also has previous experience as a Finance Business Partner at Virgin Media and as a Financial Controller at Pilot Film & TV Productions Ltd. and GMTV.

Riaz Hooda pursued their education in a chronological manner in different institutions and fields of study. From 1999 to 2002, they studied at UCL and obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc. Hons) degree in Physical Sciences. Later, from 2004 to 2009, they attended The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, where they acquired the degree of ACMA. During this period, they focused on subjects including Business Strategy, Finance Strategy, and Risk and Control Strategy. In 2016, Riaz Hooda further expanded their knowledge by attending Knowledge Train, where they completed a program in PRINCE2 certification for Project Management.
