Derek Simmons

Derek Simmons has extensive experience in sales and business development. Derek'smost recent role is as a Regional Director of Enterprise Sales at One Identity, starting in 2023. Prior to that, Derek worked at ASG Technologies as a Regional Vice President from 2017 to 2022. Derek was responsible for rebuilding the Business Development and Sales team and implementing a franchise model. Derek also supported financial services and insurance clients with data governance and compliance solutions. From 2016 to 2017, they worked at Proofpoint as a Senior Major Account Manager, overseeing the protection of Fortune 500 clients. Derek also held various roles at Hewlett Packard Enterprise, Sun Microsystems, Logicalis, Tidal Software, Hewlett Packard, DigiTerra/Ciber, and Paychex throughout their career.

Derek Simmons holds a BA in Accounting, Economics Management from Ohio Wesleyan University. Derek has also obtained certifications in "Building Your Visibility as a Leader" from LinkedIn (2023) and "ITIL Foundation Certification" from itSMF USA (2005).
