James Welch

James Welch is an accomplished operations leader with extensive experience in the healthcare sector. Currently serving as the Regional Vice President of Operations for Amazon's One Medical since May 2024, Welch previously held the role of Senior Operations Leader at One Medical/Amazon Health Services from February 2022 to May 2024. Prior experience includes a significant tenure at Providence Health & Services, where Welch held key positions such as Chief Operating Officer for PMGA and Manager of Lab Services & Outreach from March 2007 to April 2021. Welch holds a Master's Degree in Organizational Leadership from Colorado State University Global (2012-2015) and a Doctor of Education in Organizational Leadership from Grand Canyon University (2017-2020), along with a Bachelor's Degree in Communication and Media Studies from Baylor University.
