Amber Bowling is an experienced professional in volunteer and alumni program coordination, currently serving as the Senior Volunteer and Alumni Programs Coordinator at One Million Degrees since October 2021. Prior to this role, Amber held the position of Assistant of Volunteer & Intern Services at Shedd Aquarium from December 2019 to June 2020, where responsibilities included conducting phone screens, in-person interviews, and assisting with the onboarding of volunteers and interns. Earlier, Amber completed a year with AmeriCorps at the Greater Chicago Food Depository as the Youth Programs & Outreach Coordinator, managing youth initiatives such as Nourish 101 and the Food Justice Leadership Program. Amber holds a Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Management from Indiana University Bloomington, completed in May 2018, and graduated from New Albany High School in May 2014.
