Michael Franklin

Michael Franklin is the Founder and Chief Thought Leadership Officer at Words Normalize Behavior, a strategic engagement and communications consulting firm, and serves as the Co-Founder and Executive Director of Speechwriters of Color, where leadership focuses on professional development for a national membership. Michael has extensive experience as a Strategic Advisor for One Strategy Group, providing expert support in communications and coalition building, and previously held roles including Communications Associate at The Black Futures Lab and Communications and Special Projects Coordinator at The Collective PAC. Michael's leadership in student organizations at Howard University, as well as a background in teaching mock trial curriculum, reflects a strong commitment to advocacy and educational development. Michael's academic credentials include a Bachelor's Degree from Howard University and an Executive Certificate in Sports Philanthropy from The George Washington University.
