Tejas Raval

Tejas Raval has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Tejas currently holds the position of Director of Engineering at Advanced, a position they have held since September 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Head of Product Engineering at Advanced from January 2021 to October 2023.

Before joining Advanced, Tejas worked at Dell for a significant portion of their career. Tejas held various senior managerial positions, including Senior Software Engineering Manager, Senior Manager Information Technology Operations, Information Technology Manager II, and Software Development Manager. During their time at Dell, Tejas was instrumental in driving the modernization of Dell Global Business Corporate Systems, leading a team of engineers to deliver next-generation products. Tejas also implemented various methodologies such as BDD and TDD, instituted 4DX principles, and successfully transitioned from a project-based to a product-based approach. Tejas played a key role in restructuring global teams and processes, resulting in improved customer satisfaction and backlog reduction initiatives. Their achievements include moving from a project to a product delivery model, which significantly increased customer satisfaction, and orchestrating successful releases using SCRUM within a short timeframe.

Tejas also has experience working at Everest Software Pvt. Ltd, where they served as a Software Designer and later as a Senior Software Engineer / Software Designer. Their responsibilities included technical design and development of web parts, Everest Dashboard, cubes, and API layers for various core business areas.

In addition, Tejas worked briefly at SSI Limited as a Lab Coordinator, assisting students with development-related issues in Java programming. Tejas started their career as an Assistant Manager - Instrumentation at Mardia Chemicals Ltd.

Tejas Raval holds a B.E. degree in Instrumentation from North Maharashtra University. Prior to that, they completed their H.S.C in Science at St. Xavier's High School, Loyola Hall, Ahmedabad. Alongside their formal education, Tejas has obtained multiple certifications in various fields from institutions such as LinkedIn, Udemy, Oracle, Indian Institute of Management Bangalore, and Scrum Alliance, covering topics like AI ethics, cloud computing, design thinking, DevOps, and agile methodologies. Tejas also holds certifications in ITIL V3 Foundation and Certified Scrum Product Owner.
