Travis Currie has a diverse work experience that spans over a decade. In 2021, they began working as a Product Manager for OneFeather and an Educational User Experience Researcher and Designer for Pixel Union. Travis has also been the Founder of Currie Media since 2008. In 2020, they were a Senior Technical Writer for Switch and a Technical App Support Specialist for Pixel Union. From 2014 to 2020, they held various roles at Shopify, including Research and Development Senior Video Production Manager and Data Analyst, RnD Technical Educator, Help Center Youtube Video Producer and Data Analyst, Lead Level Up Coach, Tier 2 Support Lead, Tier 2 Support, and Remote Guru. From 2010 to 2012, they attended Centre for Arts & Technology Fredericton and obtained a degree in Filmmaking with a focus on Cinematography and Film/Video Production. Additionally, they have obtained three certifications: HUMAN-COMPUTER INTERACTION - HCI from the Interaction Design Foundation (IDF) in 2020, 6.00.1x: Introduction to Computer Science and Programming Using Python from MITx on edX in 2019, and Marketing Fundamentals from lynda.com in 2015.
