Wayde Herman

Wayde Herman has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Wayde started their career as a Content Creator at Indie Shuffle, LLC in 2015. Wayde then became a Manager and Co-Owner at Untamed Youth from 2012 to 2017, where they focused on brand building, marketing, and event planning. In 2018, they worked as a Data Science Intern at DataProphet, where they developed models for financial time series forecasting. Wayde also collaborated with clients and delivered progress presentations. In 2019, they worked as a Freelance Data Visualization Developer, creating interactive data visualizations and data analytics tools. Currently, Wayde works at OneFootball, starting as a Data Analyst in 2020 and progressing to Senior Data Analyst. Wayde is now the Data & Insights Lead, responsible for leading data analysis and providing insights.

Wayde Herman attended the University of Cape Town from 2008 to 2012, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering. In addition to their degree, Wayde has completed various certifications including "Building AI Products with OpenAI" and "Marketing Analytics" from Uplimit, "Practical A/B Testing" and "Product Analytics" from Uplimit, "AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner" from Amazon Web Services (AWS), "mlcourse.ai" from OpenDataScience [ods.ai], "Data Visualization with Python", "Deep Learning Specialization", "Sequence Models", "Convolutional Neural Networks", "Improving Deep Neural Networks: Hyperparameter tuning, Regularization and Optimization", "Structuring Machine Learning Projects", and "Neural Networks and Deep Learning" from Coursera.
