Cynthia Amaya

Cynthia Amaya has a diverse work experience. Cynthia is currently serving as the Director of Curriculum Design at OneGoal since October 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Socorro ISD as an ESL/ELAR Teacher from August 2020 to October 2022. Before that, they were an ESL Teacher at Houston ISD from August 2016 to August 2020. Cynthia also gained experience as an Assistant Coordinator at Reads & Counts in 2013. Cynthia worked as a Tutor at Boys & Girls Clubs of America from August 2012 to December 2013. In addition, Cynthia served as a Communications Intern at Brazos Interfaith Immigration Network from August 2012 to December 2012, and as an Editorial & Multimedia Intern at Latinitas from May 2012 to August 2012.

Cynthia Amaya attended Texas A&M University from 2010 to 2013, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in English Language and Literature, with a focus on General studies.
