Damara Garcia-Garcia

Damara Garcia-Garcia has a diverse work experience. Their most recent position, starting in 2023, is as the Director of Teacher Support at OneGoal. Prior to this, they worked at East End Prep from 2018 to 2023, where they held various roles including Science Coach, Founding Seventh Grade Science Teacher, and Grade Team Lead. Damara also served as a Teaching Assistant at Relay Graduate School of Education from 2020 to 2023. Damara was a Corps Member at Teach for America from 2018 to 2020 and worked as an Assistant at Instruction Partners for TN Science Bootcamps in 2019.

Damara Garcia-Garcia completed their Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) degree from Relay Graduate School of Education from 2018 to 2020. Prior to that, they received their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Psychology from Johnson C. Smith University (JCSU) between 2014 and 2018. Damara also holds a high school diploma with a focus in Theatre/Theater from Northwest School of the Arts, earned from 2011 to 2014.

In addition to their formal education, Damara Garcia-Garcia has obtained a Professional Teaching License from the Tennessee Department of Education in July 2018.
