J.B. Koenings is a shareholder at O'NEIL, CANNON, HOLLMAN, DEJONG & LAING S.C. since July 2011, specializing in startups, early-stage, and emerging growth companies with expertise in business entity selection, equity structuring, and private placements. Koenings provides comprehensive advice on state and federal securities laws, regulatory compliance, mergers and acquisitions, and intellectual property agreements. Prior to this role, Koenings served as a corporate attorney in the United States Air Force from May 2003 to May 2008, undertaking various intelligence officer positions with significant responsibilities. Educationally, Koenings holds a JD from Marquette University Law School and a BS in English Literature from the United States Air Force Academy.
