Stewart Gebbie

Stewart Gebbie has an extensive background in software architecture and engineering. Stewart started their career in 1997 as a Developer at Liberty Life, where they worked until 1999. From 1999 to 2014, they worked at Gethos, where they held various roles in systems development and consulting.

In 2014, Stewart joined Google as a Site Reliability Engineer and worked there for two years. Stewart then moved on to ECN as a Software Architect from 2016 to 2018. During this time, they specialized in electronic communications networks.

In 2018, Stewart joined Discovery Limited as a Systems Architect, where they contributed to the company’s technology infrastructure and worked until 2021. In the same year, they also established their own software engineering company called Stewart Gebbie Software Engineering, where they served as a Software Architect & Consultant.

Most recently, Stewart has worked at Resystems and OneLayer as a Software Architect, starting in 2022. These roles demonstrate their expertise in software architecture and their ability to design and develop complex systems.

Throughout their career, Stewart has gained valuable experience in software architecture, systems development, and consulting, making him a highly skilled professional in the field.

Stewart Gebbie received their MSc degree in Mathematics from the University of the Witwatersrand, studying from 1993 to 2001.
