Darren Ramsey, MBA, CCIE, CISSP has over 25 years of experience in the information technology and healthcare sectors. Darren began their career in 1989 as a Team Supervisor at Sears Telecatalog. From 1991 to 1993, they worked at East Tennessee State University in Computer Services and at Excel Polymers as a Network Engineer. From 1993 to 1997, Darren worked at BCTI as a Network Engineer and at Wellmont Health System as a Senior Network Engineer/Team Leader and Director of Technology/Chief Architect. In 2014, they worked at Cisco as a Select Pre-Sales Engineer. Since 2015, they have worked at Holston Medical Group as Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), and at OnePartner as CTO & CISO. In their roles, they have been responsible for enterprise architectures, cybersecurity, storage, compute, telephony, user experience, business continuity and budgets.

Darren Ramsey holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from East Tennessee State University, as well as a Master of Business Administration from Tusculum University. Darren has also obtained numerous certifications, including Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from (ISC)² in October 2021, ITIL® Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management from AXELOS Global Best Practice in January 2019, Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert Routing and Switching (CCIE-RS #18814) from Cisco in September 2007, Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) from Cisco in April 2003, Cisco Certified Design Professional (CCDP) from Cisco in March 2003, Cisco Certified Design Associate (CCDA) from Cisco in October 2002, Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) from Cisco in October 2002, NetScreen Certified Security Associate (NCSA) from Netscreen Technologies (NASDAQ: NSCN) in March 2002, Microsoft Certified System Engineer (MCSE) from Microsoft in October 1998, CheckPoint Certified Security Engineer (CCSE) from Check Point Software Technologies, Ltd. in May 1998, and Certified Novell Engineer (CNE) from Novell in June 1994.
