Erdem Mercan

Erdem Mercan has a diverse work experience in software engineering. Erdem began their career as a Software Engineer at Cybersoft, where they worked on the TRNASP project, an online application system for European Union education projects. During this time, they gained experience with Java, JSP, Oracle 10g, and other technologies. Erdem then joined Gantek Technologies as a Software Engineer, where they worked on the integration of a billing system into Turk Telekom. Erdem'sresponsibilities included preparing reports using Crystal Reports and working with CDR data. Most recently, Erdem worked as a Senior Software Engineer at OnePIN, a Boston-based startup in the telecommunications industry. Erdem played a key role in developing products such as CallerXchange, MessageXpress, BoosterX, AdXecutive, and SurveyXpert, which are used by over 200 million subscribers. OnePIN specializes in providing new strategies for messaging, surveys, advertisement, and top-up services.

Erdem Mercan completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computer Science from Hacettepe University, where they studied from 2001 to 2005. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Computer Software Engineering at Middle East Technical University, attending from 2006 to 2008.
