Thomas Mills (Tommy)

Thomas (Tommy) Mills has over 16 years of experience in quality assurance and improvement. Their most recent role was as the VP Quality Assurance Manager at OnePointe Solutions, a position they have held since June 2020. Prior to that, they worked as a Quality Assurance Analyst at DJO Surgical from November 2019 to June 2020. Before that, they spent six years at Mölnlycke Heath Care as a Quality Assurance Professional, where they conducted testing and verification of raw materials, in-process and finished goods, and maintained the Quality Management System. Thomas (Tommy) also has experience as a Senior Quality Improvement Associate at ArjoHuntleigh, Getinge Group, where they assisted in root cause investigations and managed quality system projects. Additionally, Mills worked at Kinetic Concepts Inc as a Quality Assurance specialist and Quality Control Inspector, implementing quality techniques and improving documentation processes.

Thomas (Tommy) Mills began their education at Haltom High School, where they received their high school diploma in Business in the years 1980 to 1983. Thomas (Tommy) then pursued further education at The University of Texas at San Antonio from the year 2000 to 2001, where they obtained a certificate in Oil/Gas from the Department of Mechanical Engineering. Later, from 2001 to 2003, Tommy attended St. Philip's College, specializing in Computer Installation and Repair Technology/Technician, and earned a degree in Computer Tech.

In addition to their formal education, Tommy has obtained certifications to enhance their skills and qualifications. In 2013, they acquired a Professional Train-The-Trainer Certificate from Southern Maine Community College. Then, in 2017, Tommy received certification as a Quality Management Systems Internal Auditor (ISO 9001:2015), inclusive of ISO 13485:2003 & 13485:2016, from Exemplar Global, Inc.
