Billy M.

Billy M. has a diverse work experience in software development and engineering. Billy began their career at CMSI, Inc in 2003, where they worked as a Software Developer, gaining experience in developing web-based solutions and utilizing PHP frameworks and Oracle databases. Billy then moved on to Belator, where they spent 12 years as a Software Developer, handling various responsibilities such as building applications, APIs, and SQL optimizations. During this time, they also provided remote support and occasionally flew to the main office in California. In 2018, Billy M. worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Walt Disney World, where they focused on infrastructure as code, using Terraform to migrate applications to AWS. Billy also implemented monitoring systems and created VPC peering connections. Following their stint at Disney, Billy M. joined Sprint as a Software Developer III, where they worked on the Network Operations Support Team. Billy gained experience in cellular networking equipment, legacy code refactoring, and Perl programming. Lastly, Billy M. currently holds the position of Senior Software Engineer at OneRail, where they create software solutions.

Billy M. earned an Associate of Science (AS) degree in Computer and Information Sciences and Support Services from Valencia College from 1995 to 1997. Billy then went on to obtain a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer/Information Technology Administration and Management from the University of Central Florida from 1997 to 2001. In addition to their formal education, Billy M. has obtained several certifications from LinkedIn, including AWS API Gateway with HTTP, Lambda, DynamoDB, and iOS; DevOps Foundations: Continuous Delivery/Continuous Integration; Jenkins Essential Training; Learning Chef; Learning Hadoop; AWS for DevOps: Continuous Delivery and Process Automation; Amazon Web Services: Networking; Deploying Docker to AWS; DevOps Foundations; and Node.js: Design Patterns. These certifications were obtained between September 2018 and October 2018.
