Andrew Wyndham has a diverse range of work experience in the education and technology sectors. Andrew currently serves as the Director of Online Learning Products at OneValley, a position they have held since May 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Philanthropy U, where they held the role of Instructional Design Manager from December 2018 to May 2021. Before that, they were an Instructional Designer at Philanthropy U from September 2017 to November 2018.
In 2015, Andrew worked at both the San Francisco Unified School District, where they served as a 2nd-grade teacher, and Newsela, where they worked as a Freelance Content Contributor. At Newsela, they wrote, edited, and reviewed assessment items for leveled news articles. At the San Francisco Unified School District, they focused on project-based learning, reader's and writer's workshop, social-emotional learning, and restorative practices.
From 2011 to 2014, Andrew worked at Gooru, a non-profit educational technology company. There, they were a member of the Community and Partnerships Solutions team, supporting partnerships with districts, content creators, and teachers. Andrew also designed and developed online training materials and delivered training workshops to classroom teachers.
Additionally, in 2011, Andrew briefly worked as an LSAT Instructor at The Princeton Review, where they designed lesson plans, led classes, and provided individualized tutoring and counseling for prospective law students.
Andrew Wyndham completed their education with a Master's Degree in Elementary Education and Teaching from the Stanford University Graduate School of Education in 2014-2015. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Development Economics and International Development from UCLA, where they studied from 2007 to 2011. In addition to their formal education, they also obtained the California Teachers Credential, Multiple Subjects from the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing in July 2015.
