Lisa Marie Gala, MBA, JD has a diverse and extensive work experience. In 2021, they began serving as the Texas Market Leader for CEC, a privately held engineering firm in Oklahoma & Texas. From 2019 to 2021, they worked as an Expert Consultant in Land Use & Real Estate Development Finance for OnFrontiers, a global advisory network. In 2020, they served as a Redevelopment Manager in the Capital Improvement Department for the City of El Paso Texas. From 2018 to 2019, they were a Council Member for NationSwell and an Executive Advisor Fellow for the City of Indianapolis Mayor's Office. In 2018, they were a FUSE Executive Advisor Fellow for the City of Indianapolis Mayor's Office and a Vice President of Community & Economic Development for Hope Enterprise Corporation. From 2017 to 2018, they worked as an Environmental Planning & Historic Preservation Technician for FEMA. In 2016, they founded and served as a Project Development for Land & Cities, LLC. In 2022, they will serve as a Senior Advisory Board on Public Space (Global) for City Space Architecture.

Lisa Marie Gala, MBA, JD has a diverse educational background. Lisa Marie obtained their College Prep Diploma from The Hockaday School, followed by a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) from Stephens College in American Studies/Historic Preservation/Museum Science, with a Minor in Political Science. Lisa Marie then earned their Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Stephens College in AEC (Architecture, Engineering, & Construction) Operations and Management. Lisa Marie attended the University of Texas at Dallas for Graduate Humanities - History of Ideas. Lisa Marie then attended Vermont Law and Graduate School, earning a Juris Doctor and Graduate Land Use Certificate in Land Use Planning and Management/Development. Lisa Marie also attended Universidad de Sevilla, earning a Juris Doctor in Comparative Spanish Constitutional Law. In 2018, they obtained certificates from NeighborWorks America in Community Economic Development Principles, Practices, and Strategies, Using New Market Tax Credits, and Using the Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) Program. Lisa Marie Gala, MBA, JD also earned a Building Multifamily Housing Part III: Project-Managing the Construction Process certificate from NeighborWorks America in 2018. In 2021, they obtained a Reiki Master (Shinpiden) certificate from Sage Roots Healing.
