Nigel Saxby

Nigel Saxby currently serves as a member of the Governance Audit and Scrutiny Committee at Humberside Fire & Rescue Service and a member of the Joint Independent Audit Committee at the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner for Humberside, both positions held since April 2023. Since February 2020, Nigel has worked as a Financial Accountant at Ongo, focusing on community development. Prior experience includes roles as Audit and Accounts Manager at Forrester Boyd, Governor and Chair of the Finance Committee at Thrunscoe Nursery and Primary Academy, and Head of Finance and Procurement at David Ross Education Trust, where Nigel led a finance team supporting 34 academies. Previous governance experience includes serving as a Governor at Signhills Infant Academy and a long tenure as Audit and Accounts Manager at Duncan & Toplis, managing audits for a diverse client portfolio.
