Jai Rautela

Jai Rautela started their work experience in 2015 as a Research Officer at the Walter and Eliza Hall Institute of Medical Research. They worked in this role until March 2019. In March 2019, they joined Monash University as a Research Fellow and then became a Laboratory Head in November 2020. In 2018, Jai Rautela also co-founded and served as the CEO of oNKo-Innate Pty Ltd.

Jai Rautela began their education at the University of Melbourne in 2007, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Chemistry and Pharmacology in 2010. In the following year, from 2010 to 2011, Jai pursued overseas electives at Uppsala University, studying Toxicology and Enzymology. They returned to the University of Melbourne for the 2011 to 2012 academic year to complete a Bachelor of Science (BS) Honours year, focusing on Pharmacology. Jai then continued their education at the University of Melbourne, completing their PhD. in Immunotherapy & Breast Cancer from 2012 to 2015. Most recently, from 2018 to 2020, Jai attended the Melbourne Business School, obtaining a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree.
