Dr. Sarala Gudiwada

Dr. Sarala Gudiwada has extensive work experience in the field of drug safety and pharmacovigilance. Dr. Sarala currently holds the position of Vice President, Drug Safety and Pharmacovigilance at ONO PHARMA USA, INC. since April 2021. Previously, they served as Vice President, Drug Safety and Pharmacovigilance at Asahi Kasei Pharma America Corp from September 2017 to March 2021. Prior to that, they worked as the Global Patient Safety Officer at Vertex Pharmaceuticals from September 2015 to September 2017.

Dr. Gudiwada has also held roles in clinical safety within various biotech/pharma/medical device companies from January 2008 to August 2015. Dr. Sarala began their professional career as a Graduate Research Associate at the University of Massachusetts Amherst from September 2003 to May 2007. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Primary Care Physician at BBR SUPER SPECIALITY HOSPITAL from September 1999 to August 2002.
