Darren Makarem

Darren Makarem currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer at OnRamp, a position held since August 2023. Previously, Darren was the CFO APAC at Binance from July 2022 to June 2023, and the CFO at Agoda from August 2017 to June 2022, where responsibilities included overseeing the end-to-end finance function and supporting executive management in business growth. Additional experience includes roles as COO/CFO at Findmypast, Non-Executive Director at Twile, Interim Special Projects Director at glh Hotels, and Commercial Finance Director at Volex. Earlier positions feature Head of Financial Planning & Analysis at Spinvox, and Senior Manager at Sony Ericsson, complemented by earlier roles at Cable & Wireless. Darren holds an MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management and a BA Hons in French & Management from the University of Reading.
