Cath Taylor

Cath Taylor currently serves as the Safeguarding Manager at OnSide since June 2022. Previously, Cath held the position of Safeguarding Officer within the Diocese of Salford from May 2017 to June 2022, managing abuse allegations in collaboration with various statutory agencies across 13 local authorities in Greater Manchester and Lancashire. Between October 2015 and April 2017, Cath worked as the Safeguarding Lead for Merseycare NHS Trust, focusing on adults with learning disabilities and mental health issues. Cath also managed Vulnerable Adults and Specialist Learning Disability Social Work Teams at Bury Council from March 2012 to October 2015. Academically, Cath holds a Diploma in Social Work from The University of Salford and a Postgraduate Certificate in Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards and Best Interest Assessor from Teesside University.
