William Laine is a seasoned educator with extensive experience in various leadership roles within the education sector. Currently serving as the Executive Director of Secondary Education for Onslow County Schools since September 2017, William has previously held several significant positions, including Executive Director of Organizational Development and Induction, High School Principal, and Principal at Guilford County Schools from July 2008 to September 2017. Additional experience includes roles as Principal in the Aurora City School District and as Assistant Principal and Director of Athletics and Community Fitness at Perry Public Schools. William's teaching background includes a position as a Middle School Science Teacher at both Perry Public Schools and Shaker Heights City School District. William holds a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Hiram College, a Master of Education in Educational Administration and Supervision from Ashland University, and an Education Leadership Specialist degree from East Carolina University.
