Chris duBois has had an extensive career in the technology industry. Chris began their work as an Operations Manager/Senior Systems Engineer for Vendio Services, where they managed a team of engineers providing 24x7x365 support for 1000+ servers across three data centers. Chris later worked at Collarity as an Operations Manager/Senior Systems Engineer, designing and maintaining a high volume search engine processing cluster. At Attensity Group, Chris planned and built a high availability data center from the ground up and provided 24x7x365 support for hardware and system maintenance across four data centers. At ThreatMetrix, Chris designed and built four data center collocation facilities on three continents and moved all operations from cloud-based architecture into private data center facilities, reducing operational costs by 60%. From 2014 to 2017, Chris worked as a Senior Systems Engineer IV, contracted with Taos Mountain to consolidate all deprecated individual systems into a monolithic system to increase reliability and reduce complexity. Most recently, starting in 2020, Chris worked for Ontada and McKesson as a Senior Build Engineer, responsible for continuous integration and deployment using Ansible, Jenkins, and other configuration management tools.
Chris duBois completed their high school education at Woodside High School in Woodside, CA from 1986-1990 and obtained a High School diploma with a focus on Mathematics and Computer Science. Chris then pursued a degree in Computer Engineering at Menlo College, from 1990-1995.
