Christopher Crombie

Christopher Crombie has a diverse work experience in the insurance and financial industry. Christopher started their career at Standard Life of Canada in 1985 as an Actuarial Student. Christopher then held various roles within the company, including Product Development Actuary, Manager Actuarial Business Development, Manager Investment Program, and Manager Operational Risk. Their responsibilities involved risk management, development and implementation of ERM frameworks, and reporting risks to senior management. In 2015, they joined Ontario Blue Cross as Vice-President of Actuarial, and later became Vice-President of Corporate Actuarial & Chief Risk Officer. Christopher also held roles at Croix Bleue du Québec, where they served as Vice-President Chief Compliance Officer & Chief Risk Officer. Currently, they are working at Ontario Blue Cross as the Director of Treasury and Investments.

Christopher Crombie earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from McGill University, where they attended from 1982 to 1985. Prior to that, they completed their Science DEC at Marianopolis College from 1980 to 1982. Christopher also holds certifications as a Fellow of the Canadian Institute of Actuaries and a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries, though the details of these certifications are not provided.
