Andrew Fifield

Andrew Fifield is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in strategic programming, speechwriting, and public engagement. Currently serving as the Senior Communications Officer at the Ontario College of Teachers since January 2021, Andrew previously held the position of Manager for Podium Profile and Speaker Engagement at the Toronto Region Board of Trade from July 2017 to May 2020. In this role, Andrew was responsible for comprehensive event programming, content curation, and collaboration with various teams to enhance organizational goals. Earlier career experiences include serving as National Online Editor and Social Media Producer at Metronews.ca, and prior roles in journalism and desktop publishing, showcasing versatility in communications. Andrew holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Economics from The University of British Columbia and a diploma in Journalism Arts from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology.
