James Medeiros has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. James began their career as an Examinations Assistant/Music Teacher at Merriam School of Music in 2009 and then moved on to become a Teaching Assistant at The University of Western Ontario in 2010. In 2011, they worked as a Music Teacher at Hamilton Conservatory for the Arts. James then joined Health Quality Ontario in 2012 as a Project Coordinator and also simultaneously served as a Musical Director at Hamilton Theatre Inc. from 2012 to 2017. In 2015, James transitioned to the Ontario Hospital Association as a Program Manager and later took on the role of Learning Solutions Consultant in 2017. Currently, they hold the position of Project Manager at Ontario Hospital Association, which they assumed in November 2020.
James Medeiros began their education in 2004 at Western University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Music (BMus) degree in Vocal Performance in 2009. James then pursued further education at Western University from 2010 to 2012, earning a Master of Music (MMus) degree in Literature and Performance (Voice). In 2013, James attended the University of Toronto and completed a Certificate in Project Management, specializing in Project Management, in 2015.
In addition to their degrees, James has obtained several certifications to enhance their skillset. In March 2015, they became a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) through the Project Management Institute. In the same month, they also obtained the Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification from the eZsigma Group. Continuing their professional development, James received a Linux Foundation Certified System Administrator certification from The Linux Foundation in April 2018. James also holds certifications as a (LFCS) Linux Foundation Certified System Administrator and a (PMP) Project Management Professional, although the month and year of their obtaining are unspecified.
