Jane Bayani has a diverse work experience spanning several organizations and roles. Jane started their career as a Research Technologist at The Hospital for Sick Children in 1993. Jane then moved on to work as a Sr. Research Technologist/Laboratory Manager at the Ontario Cancer Institute, Princess Margaret Hospital from 1995 to 2007. In 2008, Jane joined the University of Toronto as a PhD Candidate and completed their studies in 2012. Following their PhD, they joined the Ontario Institute for Cancer Research, where they held various positions over the years, including Scientific Associate, Associate Director and Principal Research Scientist, and Interim Co-Director and Principal Research Scientist. In 2021, they also became an Assistant Professor at the Department of Laboratory Medicine and Pathobiology at the University of Toronto. Currently, Jane is working as the Co-Director and Principal Research Scientist, Diagnostic Development, at the Ontario Institute for Cancer Research.
