Michele Solomon

Michele Solomon is a dedicated leader with extensive experience in Indigenous governance and community development. Currently serving as Chief and Councillor for Fort William First Nation since April 2015, Michele has also held the position of Community Development Manager with the Ontario Native Women's Association from June 2018 to June 2024. Michele's educational background includes a focus on Indigenous leadership and governance, with certificates from the Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity and management studies from the Schulich School of Business at York University. This combination of roles and educational achievements positions Michele as an influential advocate for Indigenous communities and governance.
